Patola

dyed through intention and rare by nature

Originating in Patan, Gujarat, Patola weaving is a rare and highly refined double-ikat technique where both warp and weft yarns are resist-dyed before weaving, resulting in striking, mirrored motifs on both faces of the fabric.

Tangaliya

designed dot by dot, woven by instinct

Tangaliya is a traditional weaving technique from Gujarat, recognised by the tiny raised dots that form patterns across the fabric. Known as daana, meaning ‘grain’, each dot is created by twisting additional weft threads around selected warp threads by hand as the fabric is woven.
